Oh,this has pretty much the same feeling as the illustrations we had in the Italian edition of the first three books,especially the staging and the expressions!
Then they stopped illustrating them,since the content was more ''mature'' and they didn't want it to look like a children book anymore...But I missed those illustrations so bad ! Thanks so much for summoning back that sensation XD

I'm not an expert,but I guess so.
To be honest, I would've defined those illustration,like yours, more likeΒ ''dreamy'' and ''surreal'' than ''expressly for children'',but they have a weird way to deal with these matters here,it's almost like a book that's illustrated must automatically be considered ONLY for children.

yes they were 4 a***oles even if Snape followed Dark Arts and became a Dewath eater later: the worst was the "prank" (prank?! BAH!) of Whomping Willow... if I had been Lupin, I'd have stopped being friend with Sirius after that, instead of look out for those bullies as Lupin continued to do

Well, I'm one of those oddballs who likes both the Marauders and Snape, but I will admit that their behavior was disgusting on that day. The expressions on all of them are spot on. I see that you left out cowardly Remus. OK, I like him as a character, but I blame him just as much as the other three. He was a prefect, he had the power to tell them to stop, but he wimped out and stuck his nose in a book, "pretending" that he didn't see anything.

Thanks, yes It has been really degrading for him, and I understand his furry toward eweryone around him, who witnessed it, the lost of your own honour in front of the one who you have admired hurts double times. And Snape has been a man of honour.

Poor Severus! I love Lily's hat here. Those pointy hats were mentioned in Book 1, but then we never hear much about them after that. I love that you added it here. It's a really great detail.
And James and Sirius just look like such nasty little gits here....
Oh, and Peter sucking on the end of his wand, tucked up against Sirius! Awesome.
