Description
My pen started drying out when I got towards the fins as might be able to tell.Drawn for Β to be used as an alternate mode for one of her original character Transformers.

Yeah Leozack is for sure.Β From what I remember Hydra AKA Darkwing is a Panavia Tornado.Β Main difference being, the Tornado has only one tail in and the Tomcat has two.

To be fair, most of the jets are, at least loosely, based around existing or experimental vehicles.

Yeah, basically the three conehead's have F-15 fuselages with modified wings.Β There's no existing fighter with Thrust's wing configuration, although I think Yakolev had ideas which never got off the drawing board, but there are a few modern fighters with similar wing configurations to Dirge and Ramjet.

Well, in the cartoons they just started making appearances without any real introductions but in the original Marvel comics storyline, I can't remember exactly how, but their alt modes were chosen by Shockwave.Β At the time, Shockwave had defeated Megatron, taken leadership of the Decepticons, defeated the Autobots and taken control of the Matrix, with which he was giving life to his newly constructed Transformer bodies (as he'd also taken control of a human armaments factory).Β I can't remember if the coneheads were some of these new constructs or if they wereΒ reinforcements from Cybertron that had been transported by the Decepticon spacebridge.

Actually, from what I remember, I think you're right on both accounts. Β It was the Constructicons, along with Jetfire that were built in the human factory. Β And the Coneheads, along with the Insecticons were under the command of Straxus on Cybertron.

Well, I've the Ark Addendum's 1 & 2 too.Β They really are great resources for references of TF characters.Β They're too big for my scanner though.
