He was fun to draw too.  Yeah, that would be cool to see.  You never know, he might just pop in IDW somewhere - although I dread to think what they might do to the poor guy

That would be cool to see.  But I'd have a hard time with figuring out Bumpers strengths other than opponents underestimating him due to his small size and thinking he is Bumblebee.

Considering what IDW has done to the regulars (not just the extras) it could be something wretched.

What I normally do is have a look to if there's any pre-existing official or fan made bio's around first and use them, sometimes having to change them slightly to fit the DW format.  For example, for Straxus, I used the bio provided by Hasbro on the back of the box of the Darkmount toy and used the bio information from SoD's profile of the same character.  If I can't find any pre-existing bio's I'll normally go to somewhere like TFwiki and create a bio using information from the character's history, appearances, etc, like I've done with Mindset here.  To be honest, the IDW information is normally my last choice and I try to avoid it if I can.

Well, you do a great job with incorporating the ID info onto DW style.  IDW does take some liberties with their characters so yeah IDW is the source of last resort. 

The TF wiki page is fantastic!  I love going there and reading up on bios every so often.  I also appreciate the humor that is used with captions with the images.

Like for instance: Runamuck and Runabout in their first comic marvel comic were the original Beavis and Butt-Head.  Strangely enough after that issue they didn't show back up until the 80's comic series needed cannon fodder.

Yeah, TF wiki's a very handy resource and their humour makes it even better.  I don't think I ever came across the Runamuck & Runabout/Beavis & Butt-Head caption, but there's so many others that I've come across that have got me laughing.

It might be hard to pick up the references in the wiki page but if you read the picture captions further down the page there will probably be one that sticks out.  

I will say that IDW did have a creative idea with the humanoid projections for each transformer.  The issue with having the transformers from the Lost Light land to go relax a bar has to be one of my favorite issues of the series.  (with the exception of the Thunderwing saga & Last stand of the Wreckers)

I thought the "human facsimile" was a good one too.  Although, IDW did introduce them very early on, from what I can remember, Ratchet had a holographic driver in Infiltration, their first story.

Thanks JP.  I tried to keep him as close to the original design as possible, only making the necessary changes to allow for his alt mode.  This is how he appeared in the comic tfwiki.net/wiki/Mindset_(G2)  Yep, you can't beat the classic TF style.
