Taranachus or Tarantulas as he was in his youth
The idea is based on an unnamed character that I drew and used in "Entering Darkness" rh1n0x.deviantart.com/art/Tran… a one-shot comic that's part of the Darkness Trilogy by I've decided to expand on his design, give him an alt mode and make a profile page for him.

Thanks. It was just a few ideas I had on expanding on that character I'd drawn for that comic. In the BW show, Tarantulas claims that his and the Tri Pedacus Council's origins are different from that of the Autobots and Decepticons, and as far as the continuity's concerned, they firmly originate from the Cybertronian Empire.

I've always maintained that Tarantulas first became aware of the Vok during his work for the Cybertronian Empire. You couldn't terra-form that many worlds without coming across one that had some Vok experiments going on on it.

I was actually, very close to including something in his bio about the Vok. The main reason I didn't was because I thought there was already too much writing taking up space for the robot art. But yeah, I agree, its perfectly logical that he may have encountered them in some way during that time.
