Great work! I wish I could find one myself. I'm actually getting married in July, and instead of a tux I plan on wearing Richard's War Wizard outfit. I've been trying to find a Sword of Truth to go with it, but no luck. I don't suppose there's any possibility of commissioning one, or "renting" one you already have?

Nice work, Earl. I made a similar sword a number of years back, and I did sell it... And I did get a letter from Goodkind's literary agent warning me i was in copyright infringement. Of course this was during the time when Terry was in negotiations with Disney to purchase the rights to his series, and he wanted all of the rights free and clear. Now you'd be dealing with Disney on any Copyright issues relating to the sword of truth.
Incidentally my first sword commission was to build two more swords for Terry himself.

Yeah, some people are weird though. He might want to get pissy over copyright infringement or something as well. I dont think he can do anything as long as Im not selling it, but knowing my luck....

I've actually been daydreaming about making that sword out of wood. And maybe gifting it to him... would that be weird? I guess I'm one of those weird people. If Goodkind is anything like his Richard... I think he would encourage us so long as we did no-one harm.
