The flying petals give the picture a real sense of atmosphere to the picture and actually leads to me believe the Pikachu sitting in the field (presumably alone).

Well Pikachu and Pokemon did originate in Japan XD; So it technically makes them Japanese right? Well I wanted to make it feminine.. without actually adding eyelashes cuz that would be... like.. weirder looking lol. Hence the Asiany-big-girly-ish-eyes

Yeh the only PS thing on there was the text, my kitten siggy and the petals. The rest was done in OpenCanvas :3 But thanks much for the comment!!

Yeah the female Pikachu came along in the Gold, Silver and Crystal versions of Pokemon I think So yeah.. it's not really anything new lol. Only thing is that the newer DS versions are making it easier for the players to differentiate between them instead of the usual ♀ ♂ signs.
