Ok, there is no particular reason for this, it's just an exercise inspired by the pose of the model in this photo (see the link below), when I saw her I just thought "this should be a good pose for some dangerous creature", and here we are!Painted in photoshop cs6 with bamboo wacom tablet, as usual I used always the same brush for everything.
Oh, I almost forget, the tiny guy under the creature is a picture of me, it's not part of the painting, just a reference for the dimension of the creature!
I hope you like it, and I'm sorry for the small sizes of the image.

I agree. It can also be the hardest part. The hardest thing for me is how light should reflect off things. I practice lighting and shading all the time, with almost everything I draw or paint.

Hi, thanks for the comment. This could seem detailed enough, but if you watch it really closer you can see that all the details are messy and quite rough. I did it in two night, one for the general shape and shades, and one for the finishes.
