Description
An older drawing that was stippled using Ink and Pencil. Cropped and used as my avatar.Done several years ago using a reference from a book illustration, unfortunately do not know name. I do remember that this is a portion of a larger picture.

No...but it can look like one. It's a Foo Dog, an ancient sacred dog of Asia... they are guardians or protectors against evil spirits.

I love this, and the composition is great too - I like the way the 'stone guardian' is looking upwards. It really suits being your avatar as well, although it's nice seeing the real thing as you lose some of the detail through it being so small. I really like the shading and the patterns too!
