This s a tutorial of how I coloured the hair, and you can see the finish picture here [link]
And base on this you can creat another colours of hair by just simply follow this tutorial
U can use some colours tones as: green, yellow, brown - pink, purple, light purple or dark pink - brown, yellow, gold etc,...they r what I usually use
Click DOWNLOAD button for bigger size if you cant see it clearly, sorry for huge size cause I want you can see it clearly
And I also apologize for the quality of the pictures, they look quite blur cause I took it from camera (scanner was crazy) Hope you dont mind that
I also have another hair tutorial which is easier than this one a lot and I may submit it later cause I m tired at moment, may submit after few days

Wow, I'm definately gonna try this sometime! I can't believe how you can use colour pencils so well, it's amazing!
I'm using colour pencils too, but I'm not nearly as good as you!
I guess I just have to practise some more..
Maybe you could make some more tutorials about using colour pencils?
Like adding light and shadow, for example..

How can you get such a soft and opaque black? Do you use black ink to paint it? Or just colored pencils?

very good and helpful! but for when you colour blue, if the hair was red, you would colour red? i not sure about that (

Just follow same way to colour, change all blue to red (as, hard blue to hard red, light blue to light red,etc, keep brown at 1st step)
