Description
So, this comic I decided to spontaneously make because I haven't made a Skyrim comic in ages turned out much, much longer than I expected. And because of that, I had to literally shrink this comic strip twice because DA had a fit when I tried to upload the original image. I hope that the picture quality hasn't suffered too much because of it. If it has, then I'll just cut this giant in half and upload them as separate parts.Anyways, I made this comic because I've gotten effectively addicted to ESO, especially because it's so darn fun to play with my usual group of friends in the same guild as me. The three people that Archer mentioned here are their characters: Gimbles-in-the-Wabe (belonging to ), Tarveth Dren (belonging to ) and Weeping Willow (belonging to ). I'll always love Skyrim, but ESO has taken its place alongside it as one of my favorite games now, if only because of all the crazy fun we four have had together.

I've written a fanfic for Archer called "Template of a Hero", so if you like these comics and you're interested, why not give his story a read? Here's the FF.net link: www.fanfiction.net/s/8362678/1…

Archer doesn't seem to have been missing Lydia very much...

Oh man, that was great!!! ESO is a lot of fun, even if I haven't had much of a chance to play. Archer definitely grew bolder from his experiences though! Nice work!

Yep, he's changed a little, but he is still very much the Argonian we all know and love and will likely never parade around in public wearing a bath towel again.

(Meanwhile in a parallel Skyrim, the Redguard Daedric Hybrid Dragonborn Justin Mephalason was speaking to an alchemist)
Justin Mephalason: And you're sure doing this will make my weapons, enchantments, and armor even stronger?
Alchemist: Yes. It's a secret that only most worthy of people are allowed to do.
Justin: Ok, but if it doesn't work, I want my gold back. Ok..first the cyrodilic spadetails...then the salt piles...glooming mushrooms...snowberries...and spriggan sap. (Justin does the steps and sees that not only is his Daedric armor and Dragonbone Weapons even stronger, but his enchantments has improved as well) Wow! My destruction magic doesn't drain me anymore. (Shoots thunderbolts consecutively for an hour) Haha! I could get use to this.
Hermaeus Mora: Mortal nephew. I require your services once more. There has been multiple magical fluctuations in my realm of Apocrypha. I suspect it comes from an outside source. I want you to find out what is and then reveal that secret to me!
Justin: Ok. (Hermaeus Mora transports Justin Mephalason to Apocrypha where Justin discovers the source of the disturbance) So this it. I wonder- (Justin raises his hand and a portal sucks Justin Mephalson to Archer's universe) And that's why Phineas warned me not be careless around Daedric magic. (Checks to see where he is) So it's coming from Windhelm? Uncle Mora could've just told me that or figured it out on his own. There has to be a catch. (Sees Dremora lying on the ship) These Dremora have been defeated? And they've been pierced by a blade. Unlikely. Daedric armor is the hardest of all.
Lydia: (Sees someone in Daedric Armor) Archer, it's another Dremora!
Archer: Another one? Whose summoning one now? I'll take care of this! Fus Ro Dah!
(Justin Mephalson is pushed back by the shout)
Justin: The thu'um? (Archer tries stabbing Justin Mephalson, but his Dragonbone sword doesn't scratch his armor and he levitates Archer) I'm going to go on a limb here and guess you're the one who defeated these Dremora. So if you're done being hotheaded and bloodthirsty, maybe you can-
Lydia: (Points a bow at Justin Mephalason) Drop him, Dremora!
Justin: Lydia? What are you doing here? And why are you in steel armor instead of your Stalrhim armor? And how do you know this Argonian? Ok, somebody give me answers.
(Meanwhile from a plateau above Windhelm the mysterious figure, V and a hooded woman converse)
Woman: See? I told you the Daedra were entering this world. They're clearly planning to take over this world and make it their's once again.
V: The evidence is irrefutable. If Archer survives this encounter, I'll need to demand he start the Monster team initiative.

I'm sure he will survive. Console commands to activate God mode, and then the kill or disable command to get rid of the dremora.

Heh yeah ESO is pretty addictive, though now I've cleared all the single player content. Left with group dungeons & Craglorn's group content XD
I definitely spend way too much time there farming for gold to buy stuff to decorate my house haha.
Though I do say too that there's a lot of amusement in tanking in the Nordic Bather's towel.
Love how you re-created Dragon Leap in the Skyrim screenshots too.

There are still some dungeons I haven't gone to yet, but I do intend on conquering every one of them! Also, Craglorn. I want to get into Trials someday, probably first with my tank, Brinsingr.
Oh yeah, I know the feeling. I spent over a month saving for my home (Grymharth's Woe). Now, I'm hoarding gold for more decorations and stuff!
Yep. Brin likes tanking in his bather's towel sometimes, too.
Thanks! I'm glad it turned out nicely. Must give all my gratitude to the modding community for helping me bring everything together!

WOW! such wow.
Hilarious that you mixed the worlds of ESO and ES:Skyrim together! (For a moment I was like...WHAT IS A DOLMEN DOING IN SKYRIM?! .... hopefully this is modded! Or else my mind is in great trouble when it comes to memory! XD)
Nicely done, Ed! Finally a peak into Lydia and Archer's life! And it happens to include GIMBLES and the lot of us. (BTW Did archer get decapitated?!)
LOL <3

Yeah, it was really lucky that my friend Conn1321 sent me a link for a mod that brought ESO's dolmens into Skyrim! Else, I don't think this comic would have worked out as nicely.
Indeed! Archer and Lydia have certainly gone through a lot throughout the course of these comics so far, but I think that this one might just be one of their more interesting moments.
And no, Archer didn't get decapitated! He was just complaining that his head hurt, probably because of weird magic stuff involving the dolmen. Though I do wonder if he gets to keep his ability to resurrect with a soul gem...
Glad to hear you liked this, Willow!

So any chance we get to see those 2E friends in the future comics, either through flashbacks or them getting send to the future?

HelloMyNameIsEd In reply to Shidoy [2017-03-13 14:45:30 +0000 UTC]
It'd probably be through those flashbacks that we get to see them, but... it might not be beyond the realm of possibility that they end up in the 4th Era...

DAMMIT GIMBLES WHADIJA DO THIS TIME
And yes, that was, indeed, a beautiful dragon strike, Archer. You would have made Tarveth very proud. He's prepared to overlook the fact you did it dressed only in a bather's towel.
Good to see Archer does get back eventually. Wonderful comic, I love reading and rereading and rerereading this

When in doubt, blame the crazy lizard. Right?
And Archer would be happy to hear that! Thought something tells me that he might forgo wearing his bather towel in public anymore. Things in the 2th Era are very different, after all.
Thanks! Happy to hear you got a kick out of this.

There still remains the matter of Archer's soul... I presume he reclaimed it from Molag Bal before Gimbles did his thing with the pinion?

HelloMyNameIsEd In reply to ShoutFinder [2017-03-11 21:37:58 +0000 UTC]
I'm guessing yes. Otherwise, maybe Tamriel wouldn't be so relatively unchanged in the 4th Era that he originally left... which would make for an interesting story. Especially considering that Archer therefore wouldn't have ever regained his old Voice.

Yep, Archer luckily didn't manage to screw over 4th Era Tamriel during his time there. And of course Gimbles had to have a hand in it.
