After a six-month drought in comic-making, I finally drag myself back into 4E Skyrim and make up this comic, and it's for a good reason. Today is a very special day: the birthday of ! (DeviantArt tells me it's tomorrow, but since she's in NZ it's already September 22 for her. A good enough excuse to finally upload this today, I'd say!)Happy Birthday, Shout! We've known each other for nearly a full year now and I can honestly say that you've undoubtedly become one of the people most dear to me in my life. You're a fanastic friend and an absolute sweetheart, and I consider myself very fortunate to have come to know you. I can't draw amazing things like you can, though, so I can't really make art for your birthday -- but I can make comics. So this one is dedicated to you. I hope you enjoy it! I know I had fun trying to recreate Tarveth in Skyrim's engine. It was worth having to put up with a completely empty Skyrim without any of my old Archer save files.
Also, no header on this comic because it's not quite a Skyrim is Strange or a Skyrim Quickshot, so it remains a nameless standalone. Though I do see it as basically what happened after the last comic, where Archer returned from the 2nd Era.

I never intended to stop, but college classes have eaten up so much of my time and require so much of my brainpower, inspiration and ideas for my comics becomes harder to come by. These comics were basically labors of love and I never meant to stop, but life happens.

Sadly Archer's celebration was cut short, a messenger sent by the Jarl of Solitude demanded Archer return to the Summerset Isles to kill of any lingering Thalmor (A government slaughtered by the plan of Mephala and her son, Justin unbeknownst to anyone else) so that they can establish a new colony there. Bound by honor, he head to the Isles post haste, hoping to get there before the other provinces would fight for claim over it.

And then he decides to buy the Summerset Isles, and thus becomes the ruler of his own sovereign nation, Archertopia.

Indeed. Though it's more due to the fact that Archer is just very good at finding dragons, I think. He wanted to give his friend a fun time, and by Talos, he's gonna do it!

It's so nice of Archer to think of baking that irascible old elf a sweetroll and then letting him vent out his frustrations on dragonkind with an actual dragon! And Tarv came out so well as a ghost, still in his ebony gear and faithfully swinging his twohander, I see! I love how he hasn't changed in death, and that blunt answer to Archer's response was perfect

Even now, several days after having first read this comment, I still find myself smiling like an idiot when I reread it. It just makes me so happy to know you enjoyed this so much. My heart's gonna implode due to sheer tender affection at this rate, I swear.
Of course Archer would end up trying to bake his long-dead friend a cake. And of course now I still have to upload a screenshot of ghost-Tarveth in a non-ghost form so that you can appreciate the effort I went through to find mods for his lovely purple eye and burn scars.
