i have been drawing from real life like 4 years in a college.
We have some geometry primitives, pots, apples and other boring stuff before we actually was able to draw a human properly)
So if you have a great wish to improve - make as many sketches from reality as you can) Like one in the day, and you will be feel a great progress like in a half of the year.
Photo reference is also a big help, but if you learn the basics.
Selfportraits is also a good stuff.
Unfortunetely there is no magical tips like "use this oval brush and you'll be great in no time")
You have good skills already and you are young, so i think practice is the key for your success)))
