how do you make the interface work?
is it click sensitive?
and how did you do that?

Using a mouse module to click sensitive. It is simple like press sensitive.

Pokelap in the map scene only, In other scene you have other menu. Example in battle you have battle menu, in pokedex you have dex menu, ...
