So I was really unhappy with how Ruby looked originally and spent some time making her look better, and I am SO happy with the result. Not quite where I want to be when it comes to drawing people but the difference is so obvious

Hopefully I will keep improving and she will keep looking better <3

So the lovely BudgieKnight and I reconnected and this group looks amazing

And of course

now I wanna join

Positive:

- Committed: Once she sets he mind on something she won't back down!

- Accepting: Tends to accept people for how they have treated her not based on their past. She's the one to give everyone a second chance.

- Positive: Tries to stay positive in every situation, spilled milk? Just means less calories or getting fresher milk then you had! She pretty much drilled it into herself since childhood.

Negative:

- Overly Trusting: Trusts people way too easily, makes her easy to take advantage of. Yeah, she'll totally walk down that dark alley with you in the middle of the night. Nothing bad could happen right? Riiiiight?

- Socially Inept: Has issues starting a conversation and introducing herself to people. She wants to be seen as confident but the minute it gets to actually BEING confident she'll get flustered and mess up her words.

- Oblivious: Often doesn't take notice to rather obvious things around her, a wild Pokemon could literally walk by her and she may not notice right away.

Ruby grew up in the Kanto region on Cinnabar island and basically never. left. As in never, not even to hop a fairy to the main land. Her parents were wealthy but not the type of wealthy where they sit around and enjoy their riches. The wealthy where they got there from very busy with their work so they hardly had time to spend time with their kid. They actually often forgot they even had a kid. As such she was mainly raised by a nanny until her parents thought she was old enough to get herself to school and handle the house on her own. So at 10 years old (I mean most kids went on adventures all around the world at that age! Clearly old enough to be left on her own), Ruby had the run of the house and was in charge of feeding herself, getting herself to school on time and overall entertaining herself until her parents came home. I mean, they called sometimes, like... when they forgot a document at home... Sufficed to say she became very accustomed to just being forgotten about and ignored.

At Pokemon school she had issues making friends and people called her the weird kid. When she was able to make friends they would frequently forget to invite her to things, not on purpose they just kinda forgot she existed. Ruby took it in stride every time telling them not to worry about it and they could invite her next time! (They never did). In the end she ended up spending weekends and evenings doing homework, reading books and playing with the plush Pokemon her parents had brought back from various regions around the world. One day she heard that a group of kids were going to the abandoned mansion on the island, excitedly she announced she was going to go with them this time and followed them there. Finally feeling included with others her age she went adventuring through the old building effectively getting separated from the group. No one remembered to look for her and they all went home without her. By the time she realized she was all alone in the building after dark and everyone had left, not knowing her way home she was stuck spending the night in a creepy run down building. Luckily in the morning a friendly Chansey found her huddled in a corner and helped her get home.

She often returned to visit the Chansey and they would play since she rarely had any actual human friends, this completely removed any fear she had of Pokemon in the wild as others would often join in their games. One day while helping an injured Rattata she saw how happy all the Chansey were working at the Pokemon center and decided one day she would become a nurse and the Chansey would be her partner. She lived happily until she heard the sirens start going off.

The volcano was erupting and everyone needed to evacuate, it was something that had been predicted as a possibility for some time but no one ever thought it would actually happen. Ruby, now 12, rushed into the Pokemon mansion before evacuating in order to help the Chansey and the rest of the wild Pokemon there avoid the disaster that was about to befall the small island. Moving to her parents summer home on Tangelo Island in the Orange Island she released the rescued wild Pokemon there to live out their lives in a somewhat paradise. Except for one, the Chansey opted to stay by her side and became a life long friend.

As she got older she became more independent and less focused on whether or not her parents got in touch with her, since they rarely spoke. She focused on her studies and got into the testing phase of Pokemon nurses college. Unfortunately the registration attendant forgot to write her name down and she wasn't allowed to take the test until the next year. Frustrated by constantly being forgotten and constantly being surrounded by trainers taking the Orange Island challenge she spent days trying to get in touch with her parents. She didn't want to spend the year waiting at home and hoping the next registration attendant would remember her. After finally getting a hold of them she managed to talk her parents into letting her go on he own Pokemon adventure, for at least the year she would be waiting, she knew that she didn't want to take the Orange Island challenge because she wanted to get away from the island and make something of herself. However, she didn't know what region she wanted to go to, impatiently her parents told her to 'just pick one' and remembering some medical books she had read about a mysterious phenomena happening with the Pokemon in the Issho Region she randomly selected it. It took a week of reminding her parents to book her tickets but, she is now quite happily setting out on her Pokemon journey!

Her bracelets were an early birthday present from her mom, the day after her birthday
She always has on at least one blue ribbon, they were a gift from her nanny when she was young and she treasures them deeply. Even if sometimes they clash with everything else she is wearing.... She has a drawer full of them so she can replace them if they get ruined.
Her goal for joining the Pokemon league is to "Be remembered"
Her bag has three Pokeball on each side so that she can carry all 6 on the outside of her bag, its a lot more convenient then digging them out of her bag or pockets every time she needs them.
Still had her pencil case and pen they're just tucked away in her backpack for now! Along with a first aid kit and other supplies.
