  The Adventures of Sam and Max Freelance Police is an American-Canadian animated television series that ran from 1997-1998 and is based on the comic series. I’m not the biggest geek on Sam and Max, but I do consider myself a fan of these two. I always enjoy seeing the likable duo play off from each other in pretty much any sort of media. Having a television series sounds like a great idea since they always had so much life just by being in pages, and thankfully this show delivers! The show puts them on unusual adventures, whether they be on the moon, in the center of the earth, or even work with time travel… it seems like they’ll accept any mission! The show’s animation is also nice and clean. Back then this was one of the few animated shows to be animated in digital ink and paint, and I’ll say it aged pretty well!

  Overall this show is GOOD. It’s the comic series in wonderful animated form. The jokes are great, the characters are as charming as before, and of course the good animation. Of course I recommend this to any fan of Sam and Max, it's only 13 half hours too. I would argue it deserved to last longer than that, but oh well it was a consistently solid series.
