Halfway there! One more week left of the Valentine's Day Challenge. Ta da! Courage the Cowardly Dog and Shirley the Soothsayer.Not a canon relationship, but she saves his bacon on a regular basis and Courage is nothing if not a gentleman.

Everyone else things I'm weird for liking this pairing, but I always figured Courage needed someone for him, you know? Not just Muriel. And, well...Katz, Le Quack, Doc Gerbil, King Ramses, that blue...F***ing thing, Courage doesn't really have many choices, and Shirley seems to tolerate him, at the very least, so...(Explodes into a shower of used needles)
