Not that this is necessarily themed for Valentine's Day, but since Malon is considered one of Link's (many) love interests I guess this can count, so Happy Valentine's Day I guess. Anyway yeah, I made Malon in DAZ Studio, and this took surprisingly longer than I thought it would.

First of all, the base model I used was Aiko 7 , which I also used for Zelda, but this time I used the textures from Cailin for Victoria 7 . The dress is a retextured version of the Peasant Dress for Genesis 3 Females , the scarf is from Vagabond for Genesis 3 Females , the boots are from the Country Girl Outfit for Genesis 3 Females , and the belt is from Lady of the Land for Genesis 3 Females . Both the belt and the boots use textures from Somewhat Essential Iray Shaders to give them a more worn and weathered look. The textures for the dress were done by me as was the Bowser face medallion. I couldn't make it exactly like the game, so I just made it to be like a clip or something to hold the scarf on. I also added some freckles to her with Extreme Closeup: Freckles for Genesis 3 Females , I felt that looked right for her in a more realistic style. Lastly, the hair is Ktarya Hair for Genesis 3 and 8 Females . That's all the products out of the way.

I really wanted to make sure this was as accurate of a recreation of her as I could possibly do in DAZ, which is part of the reason this took so long. I know there are some differences (seriously, I wish I could do better on the scarf), but I think this is really close. I even tried to recreate her pose from her Ocarina of Time artwork .
