Description
Finally a bright Metroid scene! For this one, Samus' ship has been taken down and is out of commission. The blast even knocked her Power Suit offline. Now Samus is stranded on this alien planet with just her blaster. Hopefully she can find a way to infiltrate this alien facility to find a way to repair her ship, or get off the planet.

I've had the Smash model of Zero Suit Samus and I've really wanted to do some cool scene with her, but I could never figure out what to do with the scene. But I got to messing around with some of those fire effects that I used in my last scene and once I added them to her ship, I thought about doing a scene based on the ending of Zero Mission. Now obviously this isn't a total recreation of that, since it isn't the right ship and while I admittedly tried my best, I couldn't recreate the Space Pirates with anything I have and I couldn't find any good models of them anywhere. So instead, I settled for creating some alien-looking creatures that would be hunting her down after her ship landed. Trying to create the dust effect was tricky and I ended up using a bunch of 2D cloud effects to make it. The usual atmospheric effect I use just didn't work well for this like I wanted. I also had a surprising amount of sci-fi assets that I've never used before so that also helped me add all the pieces I needed to make something I was happy with.
