I found a good version of Samus' suit model from Metroid Prime. I got the model from here . I was actually planning on making this scene with the Other M model I have from Smash Ultimate, but I really wanted to use a version that was closer to the Super Metroid design. I could have used the Brawl model since that is almost exactly a 3D version of her Super Metroid design, but the proportions of that model don't work well with normal humans. This scene took a lot of work to make. So I based this off the opening to Super Metroid when Samus is handing the baby Metroid over to the Galactic Federation scientist. That scene from the game is very simple and doesn't have a background, so I combined a bunch of different sets to make the lab behind Samus and the scientist. I knew I wanted some recognizable enemies to be in the tanks behind them and I went with a Zebesian in the center tank, and a Geemer and a Zoomer in the one on the left. I initially didn't have the researchers in the background but the scene looked too empty without anyone actually in the lab. I gave them jumpsuits since that's what most of the civilians on Norian and the Galactic Federation ships wore in Prime 3. I kept the scientist with Samus in a lab coat though, since that was how the initial scene was. Speaking of that scientist, the container he's holding that is actually a custom model I made myself. It's a pretty simple model but I am proud of how it turned out. It was another opportunity for me to practice my model-making skills.
