So let me get this straight: Hizruk's feral form has an off switch? Gotta keep that in mind next time it happens again.
And yup, just as I thought, Hizruk's bite marks already worsened. Looks like its become hemorrhagic to me, and it doesn't help that the bleeding stopped because it would be more difficult to draw the toxins out. Good luck in treating that, Keymen.
Regarding Hizruk's weight, I'm really out of ideas, but does it have something to do with him being all muscle and no fat? Matter doesn't need to be bulky to be heavy; it only needs to be dense.
Also if no new character shows up in the next few days, I might just get bored and draw how Haman looks like.

DANGIT I was answering this comment and then I fell asleep and then I turned off the computer and I lost everything I said X'D
But yep! It would seem his feral form was able to assess the situation and realized his life would be preserved better in accepting help from this stranger XDD--after he beat the stranger up a little first X'D. Too bad he couldn't wait til he followed Keymen home before changing back and passing out!

We will learn more facts about his physiology a bit later in the chapter!! And I (well, KEYMEN) will explain things a little!

Well, I always make it a point that I only draw characters that you have already drawn, be they in the comic already or not. That way, I'll be spot-on in drawing as to how they would appear in the comic. This is the very same reason why I haven't formally drawn Rewald yet.
Besides, even if you don't tell me, I perfectly know that you are dying of curiosity as to how Haman looks like. :3

Yeah...I absolutely hate bite injuries. Even if someone's amazingly quick and wash the bite out with warm water and soap and bandages it securely with antibiotic gel and does everything else right, they still get infected out the wazoo. My dad and sister have both gotten bad dog bites a long time ago and I feel sad I don't like dogs as much as I used to because of that. It wasn't the dogs' fault, really, and it wasn't me who got bit so I shouldn't be so weird about everything, but I guess certain things just happen and it's no one's fault. But at least with a komodo-dragon-ermahgerd-it's-a-dinosaur creature I wouldn't have liked them much in the first place.
It's funny, though, because before all that, I studied abroad in Taiwan and while I was there a huge typhoon happened. Afterward a stray dog who'd had puppies during the typhoon started living in a small yard on the campus grounds, and sometimes I gave her food. She didn't like me getting close, so I'd just kind of toss the food to her, and nothing happened to me but I realized later I was stupid to have done it, because I could have gotten bitten. I even picked up one of her puppies that I found alone one day (she'd moved them to another spot on the campus) and put it with her other puppies because I was afraid it would starve. I decided I didn't want to do anything like that again. I realized that it'd be better for me to just help out animal shelters or international programs instead of doing things I probably shouldn't be doing (though I'm honestly pretty nosy, and it's not good in my case).
I just realized I might like Hizruk because we both have things we want to do even if they're things that aren't very smart to do.

Oooo yea dog bites can be nasty. Ever since getting older and working at a store where dogs come in all the time... I've noticed how careful people need to be around them. Even when customers swear their dogs would never bite, when they get back to that dog was and are terrified they can turn in an instant XDD--- that's kind of how Hizruk was behaving in this latest scene actually!

THANKFully Hizruk's physiology is quite a bit more sturdy than average and he can take a lot more damage. Hate to think what woulda happened if any other character got this wound D:.

Yeah. I did kinda luck out. And I think I wanted to be more careful afterward. There there was another typhoon dog (who was more friendly--I think she was possibly just lost and had a family) that one of my other classmates took care of and let her stay in the dorm on a porch that was near his room. There were lots of stray animals around after the typhoon. I heard later that it was the worst one in fifty years.
That is good. In a lot of the fantasy books I've read non-human races are the strongest. But hopefully Hizruk can get rest and maybe go in the hot spring after he's a little better. One of my favorite video games is a Japanese one called Tales of Innocence, and in the game a character gets injured, and a little later he goes to a hot spring because people say it helps make injuries get better. It's a Japanese game and hot springs are popular so in one way or another hot springs have to be mentioned (that's what I've noticed, at least).
Hahaha. A friend of mine likes to say "ermahgerd" a lot, and I like to say it too.

Heheheh I LOVE Me a good hotsprings scene :3 (and I won't be surprised if he makes another trip there soon!). Serpents are a bit more hardy than humans, yes... but HIZRUK is a lot more hardy than the average serpent :3. AAAAH he's should bounce back he'll be fiiiiine XDD

Hahaha, well, I don't regret helping her, but I think I was afraid that I actually made things worse somehow (and I could have caused a huge mess by getting attacked by a dog because she was just defending herself and the pups). But that time everything was okay...it seemed to be okay, at least. I kinda worry a lot. Though in that instance I think it wasn't so bad to worry.
