Description
I'm sure anyone who has seen this movie will agree with me that one of the saddest scenes is when ellie dies. The relationship that was built in your head while you were watching it during the short montage will stay in your mind long after you leave the theater. I usually do some sort of Pixar Movie poster fan art, but this time I decided to do something different. Hope you like it!Quick Pencil sketch with Photoshop painted background.

beautiful work on this and I agree
the part where Ellie died and the part where Carl looked through their pictures were the saddest parts of the movie
i kept shedding a tear during those scenes

Ha-ha. Great sketch! I love the atmosphere and the expressions of the characters. Your style really compliments Ellie's personality.
Up was bloody brilliant -- one of Pixar's best, in my opinion. Such a sentimental picture. I've seen the film three times already and I still can't get enough of it.

I just saw this movie last night. It was perfect, I loved it. Even though it was a Pixar film, you were so connected to the feelings of the movie it was almost like they were real.
I loved Ellie and Carl and their relationship. They brought tears to my eyes, and every time he "crossed his heart" my own skipped a beat..it was so overwhelming.
And when she looked through the book at the end and her message...oh it was wonderful. Highly recommended to all who haven't seen it.
Look at me, talking about the movie and not even mentioning your picture. XP I absolutely love it, it brings back the memories of the move that chocked me up. Cute and wonderful. ^^

Awesome piece of fanart for the movie. I totally cried, the love story almost reminded me of something from a Nicholas Sparks book.

Yes. That montage and the time we see them as kids are both the saddest and cutest moments of the entire movie.

I cried.
I blubbered and I am not afraid to admit it.
not at this part though...
I cried like a baby when he looked through the book after he gets in the fight with the kid at Paradise Falls..
when he finds their life's pictures in the book..
such a sad but good movie!

I weeped like crazy too, especially at the montage.
It's absolutely amazing that they showed so much, without saying a single word.

That entire scene reminds me of someone I miss very much. I teared up a bit during that entire intro.

It was definitely a sad scene, and done so right too.
Seriously bro, it inspired me to want to live a long life with a significant other (though I have been puttin' it off for the longest). *sigh* It would be nice to find an Ellie in my life...uh, anyways, it was a great film. Can't wait to see it again!

Wow. I think I just got massively spoilered by your description here - I clicked not knowing it was a piece of "Up" fanart - so, y'know, thanks.

What a great movie. I really enjoyed it. It sure brought a different sort of charm to the Pixar lineup. Very sad story but powerful. Good job on this!
