A friend's character from a Wheel of Time RP. I had to go with the anime-inspired style after a failed attempt at a realistic portrait. Oh well.

(I think it's funny how everyone - myself included - automatically assumes it's Rand at first. I think it's because he's the only red-haired channeler we've been told of so far; there are other red-haired men, but none of them can channel.

Well, unless you've read the book series, I don't see how you would've known. Besides, most of the Aiel and Andorans(two different nations) are redheads so it wouldn't be that odd to see another redhaired channeler.

Thank you! I haven't read the books but I thought Rand was blond. So I just read the wiki and found out he's a redhead - oops! Maybe I'll try drawing him next so I can say, "That isn't Rand! This is Rand!" XD

It's not too anime though, a bit cartoony but more realistic than most anime.
