This guy, well this piece, was difficult too. I was in this weird love/hate faze with Painter and did him mostly in Photoshop. Then I wasn't too happy with the colors and shading, stopped working on it for like... a month, then went back and did him over in painter. HAHAHAH! I'm still not sure I captured him right but I'm pleased enough with it it call it done ^^.*Arkillian I hope it was worth the wait. He's a fiesty one.
I have the HARDEST time doing full body pictures, ya'll don't even know. I have a lot more like this and I think you can see my improvement with each one ^^.

The highlight from the flame rocks. His face is awesome, and his proportions look good. I dig his legs. You did a good job on those. I like how low the belt rides. It makes his legs look a bit shorter, but I think that's just an optical illusion. His waist might be a bit long, but that could also be simply because of the belt. But...I really, really groove on that coat.

Nice artwork. Creepily enough, if you were to make the eyebrows a little more bushy and the hair longer and back into a pony tail, it looks like a friend of mine lol

At first I took issue with the length of the legs, but the longer I look at it, the more I realise it's just his coat.

Wonderful job on the orange glow on his coat. The ambient lighting on his clothing folds look very real. He's got that evil smile that makes you want to hope that he has a good story behind his bad-ass grin.

i can see the improvement for sure, I really think the only adjusting that needs to be done with practice is making the legs long enough. arms and torso are good, but compare your own hands to where they reach your thigh. Also check in your mirror how long your legs are compared to the other half of your body.
I absolutely love your rendering and your poses, just gotta kick the proportions in the rear. ^_^
