Ironically this is the earliest I've finished a piece for EQD's Artist Training Ground.I've vaguely had the plan of doing a super image which combines all of my entries, which was also a possible theme for today... but for me to produce it in one day I would have to make too many compromises that I am not prepared to make. Something to add to my list of current projects!

I like this. The background is very smooth and nice, Derpy is well shaded and has a good expression, the letter in her mouth looks good. My only critique is that her front mane is a bit pointy and big.

Also thanks for the feedback, it's rather helpful and I apprieate it. Personally, I'm not sure I agree with you about the front mane being too pointy. I do see your point (heh, pardon the pun) though, and on a second viewing I think it should be a little different too.
