Description On a recent hike I found this rusty pair of vicegrips lying about. Personally I think rust is awesome (you can make thermite with rust), and the unexpectedness of the object just sitting on a bed of lichen was just perfect. The whole scene just begged to be photographed.

Oh yea, some sort of metal oxide is the second main ingredient... or the first. Depends when you add the aluminum.
