My 3 layer hannya stencil. um, on a canvas. i want to sell it. but i'm going to see if i can get it some hang time at a local gallery, first. i think this is 12" x 14"Related content

Dig it sister! I love this piece, it's just wonderfully amazingly supershazmasticatingly choice!
The background? Is that watercolor over a myriad of strips of paper or what? I really love the style of this piece.

i primed the canvas grey, then pasted on a bunch of sheets from manga, then gave it another misted layer of primer, then used xylene to make some xerox transfers which i then highlighted with gold leafing paint. thanks for the fav!

you should scan it higher resolution so that you can sell it online as well...alaDAPRINTS

so how did you get this pic?....
is it a photo or the painting?...if so you can still scan the photo at a higher resolution.

i took a photo of it with my digital camera. i will probably take a slide of it, too.
