While at least one other company is working on a triple-changing interpretation of Shatter from the TransFormers: Bumblebee movie, Metagate not only got there first, but had quickly developed a reputation for excellent engineering with their triple-changing Drift-analogue, G-01 Haiku . I'd been keeping an eye on Red Fantasy's development via Facebook and some fan forums, and it quickly became a must-have, not just because it's a Femme-Bot.

While I will say that this figure is not as intuitive as Haiku, it's not hopelessly complicated either. They've found a good balance between fidelity to the CGI, intricate engineering, and ensuring it's not utterly frustrating to get from one mode to another. The instructions are fairly poor, but at least there are videos that showcase the transformation in more precise detail. The only parts that I really didn't understand without reference to a video were what to do with the arms when transforming into jet mode, and the correct orientation of the jointed armatures the car mode's rear wings are on.
