Description
Lan: "You know, back when I becoming a NetSavior, you should've seen how the others were like. Like Chaud, he really didn't like some random person he just met having their Navi running around official matters. And Raika, oh my gosh Raika, when I first met him he was like..."Raika And Chaud: "Ahem?"
Lan: "Oh hey! I was just talking about you guys. Have you met this new NetBattler? Her name is Tempo, and her Navi is pretty darn good. She is even Cross-Fusion compatible with her Navi!"
Chaud: "Yes.... I did. She was bugging me earlier to take her along on a mission. I should've figured she'd come to you next."
Tempo: "Oh my gosh! You're that other NetSavior, the one who's the Operator of the one Net Unit Sniper! It's so cool to meet you! Oh and Chaud, I, I, I didn't get to properly introduce myself and my Navi just yet. Her name is QuakeWoman!"
Chaud: "Lan, you realize we can't just let any old NetBattler join the NetSaviors? These situations are a lot more high stakes than some average Virus encounter."
Tempo: "Um, Mr, Um Raika, Um, Um, Mr, Sir, Um. I wanted to ask, how many registered Navi Deletions does your SearchMan have?"
Raika: "Save it for the ChatBBS, miss."

Another little scene I thought of drawing, sort of relating to this one I drew earlier.
I wanted to illustrate more about how Tempo would be like in the series with her whole desires to join the NetSaviors and Lan being like her mentor helping her learn the ropes and gain confidence. This being a scene where she meets with some of the other NetSaviors, Raika and Chaud, whom are not a fan of Lan taking this newcomer and her Navi on such high-stakes missions. Even if she is Cross-Fusion compatible.
A big part of Tempo's arc would be the more "serious" NetSavior members and how they are not a fan of them letting Tempo even come along on their missions to gain experience. Tempo heard stories about them and thinks they're awesome but they are not a fan of her joining or even letting her in on these important matters. To them, Tempo is some inexperienced Rookie whom they don't want coming along, for fear of her potentially getting her Navi, or worse, herself, killed out there. Especially Chaud, which would play into another one of those classic scenes of how him and Protoman really are not a fan of how Lan and Megaman are less-serious about these things, and them getting into arguments about it.
I was trying a few variants of this scene before. The earlier ones I felt looked a bit too "angry," one earlier version of this I had sketched involved Tempo getting slapped in the face. I felt this better illustrated how Tempo's a fan of the NetSaviors in general and wants to be like them, without looking so, well, angry. It looks cute too, especially with Tempo fangirling over them, kinda like this that drew for me earlier.
I always found Raika and SearchMan.EXE (or as some of my friends like to call him, "Bishie Sniper") to be really cool in the series. Though it felt weird seeing the old Robot Master whom was notable for having two heads be reimagined as a one-headed more-humanoid Navi, the scenes with him in the show and games were really cool, and he went from being a very hardcore hero willing to shoot his own comrades if they got in the way of the mission, to someone willing to go less rough on them, was interesting. Not to mention I loved his relationship with Princess Pride in the anime too, and it's epic how his one attack involves calling down an orbital strike on the enemy.
Though given how he's like, I don't think he or Chaud would be a fan of Tempo wanting to be a part of their team. Trying to avoid that pitfall of others just accepting the newcomer immediately without good reason. The only reason Lan would be more willing to do this is because of how he's shown to be more encouraging and sees more potential in Tempo and QuakeWoman.EXE, but the fact that these other NetSaviors are less willing to take her in ends up being a blow to her confidence.
What do you think of this? And what do you think of Tempo and how I think she and her arc would be in the games and/or anime?
