Actually, Male and Female would be alts, 3DS couldn't handle the two-in-one, and that with the Inklings... makes virtually no sense.

It's more than impossible on 3DS, but the Ice Climbers could run smoothly on Wii U. They had to be cut to keep the roster the same between both versions, so Two-in-One Inklings is a nonsensical idea that's not going to work.

I love the idea of the Inklings being playable, but, as I said before, not as a Double team. I'm okay with the alts being 4 boys, and 4 girls.

it's hilarious as it could show the one Inkling as Bowser Jr.'s only displayed him without the other Koopalings and it could say "Inkling Splats into the battle".
