... oh man, she's not horribly transgendered-butchered by my hand! Awww. *gets stoned in the public townsquare by live chickens and rotten eggs for Pro-Aeris blasphemy*This be 's lineart ^______^, explaining why Aeris isn't a shim. Or flattened down by a parade of break-dancing gorillas and roller blading elephants.
Usually when such things happen, you know I'm in charge of drawing, but felt like coloring only, so gave it a shot. And drooled over the lineart. 
I *might* have overdone it somehow, but the 50-so Halloween cookies I wolfed down just now override the option of continuing. Then there's that pic to consider.. hoo lord, so behind.. 
I suppose Aeris is trapped in that Lifestream thingie, whatever that's called. Haven't played that game in years. Too bad I didn't make those materia dingies like orbs, but uh.. everything's glowy! Oops, and go check the original lineart!! [link] And the drool goes on.

This is really beautiful. I like every one of the character's equally, including the villains. So when I saw Sephiroth strike down Aeris, my thought process went something like this:
"Go Sephiroth, OH MY GAWD when I get to the end of the game I'm going to f***ing EVISCERATE you, you awesome son of a b****!!!

Oh.. geez.. I'm not quite sure. XD I know that I used some filters with 2-4 layers. I'll go back to that piece and see what the fudge I did..
