Description
"Hear the howl that eats the moon aliveYour fur it is on fire
The smoke turns the whole sky raven black
And the world upon your back will crack
Where will you go
Now that you've no home?"
'Tell Me What The Rain Knows' by Yoko Kanno
My small contribution to the blood moon/lunar eclipse...much inspired by Wolf's Rain, what could be more fitting? I unfortuantely slept right through this amazing phenomenon last night :'D
Photoshop CS5, Wacom Intuos 4L [1.5h]
I wish I still knew who made that godly brush?!

Hello! I was wondering if I could use this breathtaking art as a banner for a roleplay website called The Animal Jam Clans Wiki. Of course, you'd be given full credit with a link back to your Deviantart. I was also wondering if I could add a border to, though it would not cover the signature in any way. Good day!

Haha, thanks! (Tho I'm forced to coorrect, it was Hati who ate the moon, Fenrir wasn't involved in that part of RagnarΓΆk : P )

Thank youu
Ahhh...it has the genius name 'Texture Brush 1'. Which PS version do you have? If brushes are downwards compatible I could look into saving it in an extra file c:

I saw it, it was totally awesome!! The moon rose mostly eclipsed in my area.Β It was really cool watching the shadow "eat" the whole Moon and then the Moon gradually emerge from the darkness.Β I saw the first one in the tetrarch or whatever they call it, too.Β I'm sorry you slept through it though. D: There is another one later, I think, so you have another chance!

Cool But isn't 'later' like 2033?

My bad, this one was the last of the Tetrad!! D: I got to see two out of the four, that is something to remember.Β Blood moons are so awesome.
But, there will be two penumbral lunar eclipses in 2016.Β One will be visible for me on March 23, and another will be in Europe on Sept. 16/17.Β The moon won't go red, but it is an eclipse of a sort.Β Then there is a partial lunar eclipse that will be visible from Europe on Aug 7-8, 2017.Β Check it out yourself: www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/liβ¦
There are a bunch of total eclipses that will happen before 2033. What would be really cool is if some lucky astronauts get to view a Blood Moon as it is on the Moon sometime this century- a total eclipse of the Sun by the Earth.Β That's got to be phenomenal.Β Just think about it.Β They'll be seeing every sunset on Earth at once.
