PTSD can be just as bad for the military dogs, as their human counterparts! The Soldiers aren't the only ones who get traumatized. The animals don't forget, just like they do. And it takes a long time for them to heal. Leave it to poor Brutus to drag innocent Pixie in the middle of one of his flashback nightmares!And now the sweet conclusion. For Brutus, having Pixie is now one of the best things in his life. Although she can't make him forget, she's still able to calm him down with unconditional love and acceptance. Okay Ive been sick for the past few days but I had a great idea in my mind for brutus. The door to my laundry room has scratch marks from my past dog Kayla who's been dead for several years now, I had an idea brutus was locked behind some door so his owners could watch fireworks and he would break through the door to look for Pixie. She would show up and be like "what's wrong" and he would hug her and tell her nothing
