Description This is the basic mecha unit for the protagonist faction in my manga under construction, Azure.

The basic skeletal core of the robot is of a bio mechanical origin. Being actually a giant humanoid creatures that are manufactured at bio-factories (factories making machines of biological origin) These giants have DNA that are almost identical to humans by 99.9999999999999%. These giants do not have a fixed brain so they must be hooked up to a computer which regulates the bodily functions of the giant. When being fitted with armor, this computer brain is linked into the main computer of the cockpit (which is where the human pilot takes physical control of the giant in armor)

These units are not so expensive. They are superior to the most technologically advanced weapon, medical, and robotic systems around on Earth today. Priced at 13000 Kepits (around $10,000 in US capital) These machines are mass produced with extremely low misproduction rates. The GA (Giant Armor) series is a pilot's choice for the ease of simple modifications or drastic customizations.

The design was inspired by Armored Core mecha, EVA's (Evangelion), LFO's from Eureka Seven and Knightmare Frames from Code Geass. This is the basic front view lineart for the basic unit. other views and variations/weapon systems to come soon.

Basic information:

Height=18'-20' (depending on the customization of unit)
Empty Weight=1,800 lbs (weight of unit may vary)
Loaded Weight=+2,357 lbs (weight of unit may vary)
Performance Range: 30,000 miles
Powerplant: GAGFRS-131 Fusion reactor x6 (at lest; count
may vary)
Weapons: x1 super computer (learning, and adapting
functions included)
x8 hardpoints (for weapons that can be fitted)
Mostly knife packs, firearms (basic pistols-
conventional rifles or railguns/coilguns),
vibro/plasma swords or blades, grenade
packs, rocket/missile pods (any sized )
bombs (single or packs weighing from
350 -2000lbs.

Something similar. The only differences are they're kept outside of their armor when not fighting (The weight of the powered down armor jeopardizes the giants posture and ability to work their bodily functions). Plus they have a brain that works at about the same level as of that a human, and the giant and the pilot work together. And the major difference would be the anatomical design. The giants usually walk on all fours and are wwwaaayyy smaller than evas.

Nicely done X3 thumbs up! 10000 dollars ._.;;; If a normal household saves up they could buy one!
I have a question. Would a sniperrifle that fires armor-piercing rounds containing a flesh eating virus, be a threat to this thing?

That's the thing, This unit is very versatile and great for any use! It basically can be used as a car only difference would be the lack of space for a passenger and the sheer size. So a car would be more efficient.

Oh and the sniper rifle question... The giants are biologically superior to humans: They regenerate lost body parts, have ever-mutating antibodies, and their energy consumption is more efficient than that of the humans. Anything eaten by the giant, almost nothing comes out... oO

You said it was also cheap to modify them.
After everyone gets it! It will about who has the best custom mech.
There will be things like PIMP My Mech or just people upgrading in garages.
This would happen if mechs were cheaper then new cars XD!

Sexy. >] And I like all the info you've provided. You've obviously done your homework. Kudohs to you.

By the way.. Anatomically speaking, the further apart the legs are, the harder it is to walk upright. You realize this, right?

Don't worry you get one too! The pilots feel all of the pain the giants feel (just for suit/giant preservation)
