By the way, the "stamp tool", is also called the clone stamp. In gimp its just called clone.

This is also great for removing blemishes on the horse that you don't want in your graphic! (say, a dark marking on a grey horse or something)

for some reason it didn't work for me, it just kept duplicating the image

the clone tool DOES duplicate the image just in another spot on the image. so basically your talking part of the image and using it somewhere else to make it look like its still part of the horse...

if that makes sense...

id start with a halter... even i suck at saddles still lol... but take a small brush and clone next to but not on the halter and just play around with that... you should be able to get something...

let me know if you have issues...
