Maybe I'm just stupid, but, if you take a picture and put it on a background, then start using method 2 can you cut the horse out so that it's ON the background? (:

Well, you'd have to paste the horse onto a new, transparent layer, THEN start cutting the rest of the background out. Otherwise you'd be cutting out the actual background you want, if that makes sense.. xD
