Description

Things had been hard for Blake Belladonna recently. She had returned to her home in Menagerie where her parents live, but gut involved in a conspiracy of the White Fang trying to gain more power. She even met her old friend Ilia Amitola, a chameleon Faunus, who now was an assassin of the White Fang. Blake tried to convince her friend to leave that life behind, since the White Fang was now a terrorist organization without restrains, but Ilia ignored her pleas and gave her a warning to leave town, a warning Blake ignored.

A later day, Blake received a letter from Ilia asking to meet her alone, which gave Blake some hope. She thought of asking her friend Sun to act as a backup in case something went wrong, but in this situation, she decided to trust that her friend Ilia was really willing to stay away from the activities of the White Fang. She knew Ilia was a good girl.

At night, Blake went to the meeting place and there she met her friend Ilia; however, things went south very quickly. The whole thing was an ambush. Blake was attacked by other Faunus, including a spider Faunus named Trifa who immobilized her arms with spiderweb. No matter how much Blake struggled to get free, it was pointless.

“I am sorry it has to be this way” Ilia said as she approached Blake with a serious face.

Ilia revealed that tonight she and her companions were ordered to assassinate Blake’s parents due to their ideas about getting along with the humans who historically have oppressed their kind. Blake tried to plea with her friend to not go on a path of evil, that this was not like her, but all of her attempts were futile, and only made the chameleon girl angrier.

“What are you going to do with me?” Blake asked realizing nothing she could say right now would help.

“You will be sent to Adam; those were his orders.”

Blake did not display signs of panic, but in her mind, she was scared of that idea. She new how dangerous of a person he was now, specially after seeing him cutting the arm of one of her friends. She did not want to imagine what he could do to her when he has her in his power.

Ilia them had a change in her expression, looking sad instead of her angered expression from before. Ilia started to open about her feelings, the feelings she had for Blake.

“I was always jealous of the way you looked at him. I wanted you to look at me that way.”

Blake was surprised to learn that Ilia was in love with her. She felt bad for never realizing that, and how hard it must have been for her friend.

“Ilia… I…”

“But I don’t want you to look at him anymore.”

Suddenly, Ilia attacked her Faunus companions, knocking them out with ease by taking them by surprise. Blake was shocked of what just happened. Did Ilia just save her? Perhaps her friend was not going on a bad path. Perhaps it had all been part of her plan to betray the White Fang and warn Blake about her plan. Ilia approached Blake slowly and Blake smiled thinking she would be freed, but Ilia’s tone indicated otherwise.

“Now you will only look at me”

And without a warning, Ilia gave a strong hit to the base of Blake’s neck. Blake felt pain for an instant, and then everything went dark as she fell to the ground, completely unconscious.

Ilia took a moment to looked at all she had done. She betrayed her companions and rendered her love interest unconscious. And the strange part is, that she felt no remorse. She was tired of Blake always ignoring her. She tried to convince Blake to leave town to keep her safe, but as always Blake did not consider how she was feeling at the moment, or even in the past when she abandoned the White Fang. So, she decided to not give Blake a choice anymore in the matter. If her time in the White Fang taught her anything, was to fight for what she wanted.

Now she had to ensure that Blake would no longer escape her. Blake’s arms were still trapped by the spiderweb, but there was a chance she could run when she woke up. There was nothing to tie up Blake’s legs, so she settled with just taking of her boots to make running more difficult. With that done, Ilia lifted Blake in her arms, and appreciated the beauty of the cat Faunus, which captivated Ilia in the past, and it still did now. There was no way she would let Blake leave her side again.

“Now we can be together. It will be as good as the old times.”

With her sleeping beauty in arms, Ilia left the scene and disappeared in the middle of the night, to stay away from everything. What would she do now? Ilia didn’t know. All she was thinking was the time she would spend with the girl she loves.
