Maybe it's not as striking as the other two because you've not used complementary colours for this one (like orange&cyan or red&green) but I love your idea, it's beautiful. <3

Do you really think that this isn't as succesful? I am absolutely in love with this one!!!! How unbelievably beautiful!!! I love all three of the series but I think this is my favourite.. Possibly because the shapes do feel like a cloud of magic :3 In my strange mind

Thank you! I may. What I think I'm going to do is possibly redo these paintings as something more finished. Or, once I do enough practice work, move on to more finished paintings but as something different.

I love the style you're experimenting with. However, I feel the previous two were more of a success than this one. The animal is smaller in comparison and the pattern becomes the dominating "star" of the painting. The magenta lines lead my eye up and off the painting too. I do like the blue curls at the lower right as it brings me a little closer to the face of the cat. Perhaps toning down the saturation on the magenta stripes leaving the form may help bring the cat's face back to the spot light.
I hope you keep these up, I think it would make an amazing exhibit at an art show. Maybe try other animals other than felines even.

Personally, I love this little color kick you're on. These types of paintings are calming, thoughtful, and beautiful. I wish they were in hotel rooms and sitting areas. I think we would all love it if you just made these for a while.
