Description
On one of my off days I began experimenting with cut-out figures and collage. Here is my first little experiment.Yes yes, Watership Down. Good book. This doesn't really have anything to do with it, though it might have informed me subliminally. It was an unfortunate coincidence.

There is one comment that mentions the edit directly. All comments after this point were definately made after the edit. It's a rabbit. A stylized rabbit. I have watched and read Watership down in all its incarnations and would never have commented with "OMG WATERSHIP DOWN" to something that is clearly not fanart, especially after an edit that states that it is not related to that series. It's disrespectful.

Were you inspired by Watership Down with this art piece? Or something else? Either way, it's beautifully done. Awesome job once again.

Not as such. I was thinking more of some native American myth inspired fiction I had read.

Aw, well it is still beautiful. My little baby house rabbit is right next to me and cuddling up to me tightly as I'm browsing on the internet right now. I believe he approves of the picture as well.

I'll admit to thinking Watership Down but Native American was right up there with it!Spirit rabbit could have been the only living thing in Nevada(Sorry, just read 'This is What it Means To Say Phoenix Arizona')

Another one for Watership Down, but I mean that as a compliment. I love the art style of the beast fables in that movie, and this picture reminds me of just what a pleasant tear-jerker the ending was.

DROP-DEAD GORGEOUS... And I'm going to say Watership Down, only because I thought this was a bit of fan-art... I was, like, Hibbaary did fan-art??!!! *clickies*
Still gorgeous, and I really like that watercolor background. Are those salt dots by the white rabbit?

OOooo Watership Down...that's what this reminds me of! (EEP I typed this before reading the comments below!)
It's gorgeous though. I love the stylized rabbit that represents the spirit! The detail on all of it is amazing.

This doesn't look like cut-outs...It has so much depth o_o and I like the anatomy of the rabbits. The popular conventional figures are wolfs, horses, dragons, etc. But it's refreshing to see something different =] much appreciation goes into this piece, even though it's just an experiment in your eyes.

Rabbits are rather under appreciated in the fantasy animal art realm. Though people know what they are at least.

Heh it's alright. I had realized beforehand. It's worse when you don't and then you get a deluge of this-reminds-me-of comments. Especially when it's something extremely derpy. At least Watership Down is a good book (And film)
