Description
A very brief, experimental artwork. I have a lot of art supplies, some of them expensive, that I never use. Markers. I hate markers. But I've got them so I need to do something with them. It's fun to do something different at any rate.Related content

Girl, you've got a crazy good imagination on you. I hardly ever comment on your work and I apologize for that. This is beautiful.

Very interesting piece. I love what you did with the antlers, and the flowy patterns on it's coat.

For the very light pink swirls/markings, are those areas that you did not color with the darker red/brown, or do you have a light pen that can cover the darker color?
I know you called markers uncomplicated in an earlier reply, but your skill with them blows me out of the water. I know I would get better if I practiced more, don't sell yourself short. Not just everyone can do this with markers ;]

I had a pen which I later swapped out for acrylic (the pen was busted)

I can't Not right now, anyway. Everything I'm doing is in feverish preparation for a con. I need to fill my show panels. But if it doesn't sell at auction I will gladly sell it to you when I get back from Cali.

haha, I hate watercolors and love markers.
I wonder if it's just what you're exposed to first.

Naaahh I was exposed to markers long before watercolor. I just feel watercolor to be more versatile once you learn its nature. Markers are very..... uncomplicated.

Maybe I just need to figure out it's nature then. I've tried it a bunch of times and I get frustrated pretty fast. But then I see people do amazing things with it and want to try again.
Have you seen any of Walton Ford's work? He's fantastic.
