ug, I started droogling again... and came up with this. It's only half finished, but it's time to go to sleep and I dunno if I'll ever work on it again. So I just upload.
I tried to drawr Mewtwo in something of a more realistic fashion. It looks.... pretty scary.

Unbelievable, you have such talent for drawing animals. The shading and the fur textures here are just perfect, and the nose/snout looks very catlike and realistic.
The eyes are what really make this 'scary'; they have such a strong human look to them, that it brings to mind some sort of human-animal hybrid creature; also his eyes look a little evil, sort of slanted and contemplating.
Just amazing, awesome shading and realism!!

This is awsome! Not quite your average mewtwo, but still pretty cool! I doubt he'd have fur though, I thought he was more humanoid?

.... I actually have (designed my own, I mean) a while ago. I made up this really silly one, a road rage pokemon named putt putt. He was a wierd little alien thing in a flying car. Man, good stuff. That one really went down in the annals of house-hold history

O.o;; I dunno... I can only think of a few good uns... My main thing was making pokemon sub species. Why do all rapadash have to be white? not all horses are white. They should get to be as diverse. So I expand on their designs based on real animals. If there are people dedicated to breeding pokemon, I'm sure there are a good few breeds with different characteristics to each pokemon species. Piebald pikachu? why not! There are all different colors of rats and mice. All you need is one mutation in the species.
Unfurtunately I think I'd run into a lot of pokemon traditionalists that would jump down my throat--"Pikachu are supposed to be yellow!!!!!!" But maybe I'll upload a few...

Aw, plenty of people have fan adoption agencies. It's all one with fanart. Fanart is technically illegal, but nobody pursues it because they don't want to piss of their fans. Just so long as I make no money off of it and do it for fun I don't see why they'd want to bust me.

Hm, I wonder what Two would have looked like without that big cat nose and with nostrils only, as in the anime... but strangely, this works very well, too. Very, very well. ^_^;;;; well, I thought of giving him something like that. But I thought about animals, mammals mostly, and they really all have some kind of detail in the nose that mewtwo seemed to lack. I had though that his would be closest to a goat nose, but in the end I opted for something more like a cat nose, since he's.... kind of supposed to be like a cat. I dunno, it was hard to make certain decisions.

First off.. pic is GREAT.
Second.. you should fix the ... his.. horn/ear/thingies so they have more shape to 'em.. give him more character.

Wow, you did a really good job with this! I didn't think Mewtwo COULD look that realistic! I thought that he was probably furry because, as you had said, they draw pikachu without any texture or anything that showed he was furry, yet we always assume that he is. Very nice job!
