whoops I meant to put this in scraps.... brain went on autopilot.Man I dunno. I was dicking around in photoshop while waiting for someone to send me an email (who never did, the bitch >8C )
I felt like giving him for real ears. Based off of the elf cat.
Every time I draw mewtwo I think to myself: Yeah, this is what he looks like, right? Right? I think I got pretty close.
And then I look at an official image and my style is WAY off. Pfff whatevs.

Your style is actually pretty similar... the only major difference is the lower body shape, and a few elements of the face, but for a more semi-realistic style changes had to be made there.

Anyways. I think as artists we're entitled to take a little liberty with designs. I think you've always drawn Mewtwo as pretty interesting-looking, even if it's not quite the design laid out by the franchise. (:
