Despite being large murdering machines, they are always so clean. Do you ever wonder why?

Maybe it's easier to keep those machines clean when they blow people up from huge distances. There's no need to do that so close when they have so powerful weapons. Or the long legs on those machines help some amount. At least those are my interpretation of the situation.
