Description

Muertos grazed by her lonesome, her thoughts drifting as she dreamed of what she was missing back in Renegade's herd. Were Katrina and Arya okay? She had such a soft spot for those fillies, even if their mother, Bellatrix, had a distaste for her. Were Birdie, and her son Sora, alright? Had Renegade returned? She hardly knew the stallion, but she hoped that he'd return to his mares soon. He had worked so hard to protect them from her brother, surely he could overcome some humans. Right? It was Cassian that she missed the most though. She had been with the gray stallion longer than anyone else, and she'd be lying if she said she didn't long for his company. He would know some way to get her out of her current situation. It had been a few days since she had been captured by Leander... was he coming for her?

"Muertos?" A soft voice stirred her from her thoughts. She raised her head and turned towards Gypsum, who had a childlike smile on her face. In her mouth, she held a bright pink flower. Her ears went askew and she stared at the filly in confusion.

"....yes?"

"Well... Dove told me that you were missing your family which was why you were so sad all the time. But flowers cheer me up, so I thought they might make you feel better too!"

Her gaze travelled past the filly to where Dove was grooming her daughter, Olive. The silver mare offered her a knowing smile before returning to her daughter's tangled mess of a mane. An amused smile wormed it's way onto her face as Gypsum again tried to eagerly offer her the bloom.

"Thank you, Gypsum," she said, carefully taking it from her. The pale mare grinned and nodded, prancing back to Dove's side. The dark mare glanced down at the flower again.

Maybe things weren't completely miserable here.
