This colorful piece was for a commission from a relative of mine. She wanted these guys in a collage-type portrait, and I figured to give it a little bit of a Smash Bros theme since they do happen to be in it XDIt was very convenient <3
All and all, I'm really happy with the rendering in this, especially when I compare it to the flat color aspect and go "damn, that really pops"
I'll be honest, I've never drawn Sonic or Mario before, so hopefully I did them justice in my style <3
As for Toon Link, easiest of them all; I've drawn him so much, he's my absolute favorite. Bowser was a tad tricky, but he always has been whenever I do draw him.
As for Samus, she's ALWAYS going to give me a hard time. I love her armor so much, but it's so difficult to draw sometimes XD But I think I did pretty good this time with her <3 Favorite part being the reflective render on her arm cannon; I don't know how I did it, but I did it. And I will probably never be able to do that again XD
