Didnt know how to title this.But Telefocus kinda makes sense if you get it... It just doesn't sound cool enough ._.
Guess this is my first 'painted anime look' piece.
The feature here is kinda the suit I suppose...
Bikini-Nanosuit ftw. (that's totally a better title, no?)
I tried working consiously with color hue changes here, using subtle tones everywhere which helps add vibrance to a painting.
as always... the rushed background looks better than the character
edit: a lot of people mention how this reminds them of Battle Angel Alita (Gunnm), which I am totally aware of. (I actually put those in the keywords) but I didn't want it to be a fanart. The concept of a girl in a cybertech battle suit is nothing new of course.

really like the details and the lighting. This makes me think of Cinder and her android. haha Yea I just read that book recently, so it's still heavy on the brain. How long did it take to make this?

I'd disagree, the character looks great! I wouldn't call it "anime-ish" though. She looks really really good, but it just isn't the aisle it goes down IMO.

She has a pixie-like quality that makes her so cute...she wouldn't look out of place in Mos Eisley, either! Fantastic!

I like it. Nice work with her hair, interesting perspective, pleasent colour palette.
It reminds me of science fiction RPG game I'm a fan of - Eclipse Phase -- it's very fitting to the style and theme. Even the anime face fits right in - as a gene-modified human sylph or maybe a synthetic body. Considering that you in fact did make some art for the Eclipse Phase ('Political Murder' is a great, albeit morbid, piece), I wouldn't be very surprised if 'Telefocus' appeared in some upcoming book, 'Rimward' maybe? Am I guessing right?

yeah that ball.. I always put in stuff like that, wasn't sure about it really...i need to think of more interesting sci-fi.
I did in fact think about making some more drawings of this suit design maybe.

i'd like to see them interact somehow. the ball may open up as a weapon attachment, or a sort of A.I assistance. i see her as a spy and its her 'swiss army knife' of gadgets somehow.
regardless, awesome work. its funny how those little details, objects or themes find there way into everyone's art. that's what makes it your and personal. reminds me of who's artwork it is when i see those reoccurring things.
