Over the last week, my imports showed up. Final Fantasy 4 DS and Harvest Moon DS Cute. I've been busying myself with the 3D version of my favorite childhood game, and my wife has been OCD farming as can be expected (see also: Rune Factory).She has this tendency to name her animals in themes, though. Her cows are all FF females, the first of course being Tifa for some reason. (Hardy har har) Her sheep are FF males. It was amusing watching Kain and Cecil stumbling around and bleating.
...until she knocked up Kain.
Things have just gotten weird.
Harvest Moon stuff (C) Natsume, who really needs to do something like Shadow of the Ninja again. It's been like fifteen years guys, come on.

You've captured the cuteness of Harvest Moon and turned it into something terribly funny. Hee hee, evilness... but genius! Great job. *laughs* That sheep's face is going to stick with me, tonight. ^_^

A little off subject, but how is the 3D version of a childhood favourite? I adore FFIV m'self, also a childhood fav., but I'm trying to save the new FFIV for when I'm on Leave or to kill time in Cuba.

It's surprisingly awesome. It's the same ol' game, mostly, but the difficulty and spells and ability have all been updated to make it a much, much better game. I meah, I had Tellah randomly Recall the Bubble spell, which is pretty groovy considering that 4 never had such a spell.
The voice acting is pretty good, and it does add just a wee bit to the storytelling. I'd highly recommend it.
And I hear it gets to Shin Megami Tensei level difficulty at times, so I'm looking forward to that.

Awesome, good to hear! It's got me wanting to pick it up sooner than I intended. I hadn't even thought they'd have voice acting. Portables have come a long way!
That comment about the difficulty being Shin Megami Tensei levels sent chills up my spine, though. I'm reminded of a million "Game Over" screens while playing Nocturne.

Kain has the most ridiculously deep voice. It's so weird.
I still gotta track down a copy of Nocturne. I'm stuck in SMT 1 because the darn rom is broken, stuck in SMT 2 because I forgot where I was going and an optional boss keeps randomly appearing and killing me, and I've yet to actually crack open the Persona 3 I picked up.
Still, I'd read from a SMT freak that "the ice dogs in the tower? It's like the SMT guys were working on this or something." So I'd hope that's what he meant.

I've got Persona 3 FES sitting on my shelf, and despite the fact that I'm dying to play it, I just haven't sat down and gotten to it yet.
The SMT series is a series I really would like to get into. Besides SMT Nocturne, I haven't really gotten much of a chance to play it.

Well, the white gloves are on the particular sprite pattern she uses at all times. I just imagine that the rubber, 'unmentionable duties' glove is over the other white one.
As for the sketch lines....curses! Foiled again!

This picture is really well drawn and you've captured theese two characters' expressions very well. The background is also very nice, as well. Although I do have one question: Did the potion used on Kain have a permanent effect, or will it wear off eventually?

kain you mean the guy from ff4? the dragoon? >_> I allways hated that guy because he kept going from one side to the other
