I doubt anyone will know what song I'm referencing in the title. No big deal, though.So, a long ass time ago I drew a pregnant fanart of BlackRose of .hack fame. I said I would color it, and never did.
Figured I'd just do a better one instead. This came about today because I snapped and got sick of fetish/fan-artists only knowing/drawing the Rena version of BlackRose. Yanno what? I like the BlackRose version of BlackRose. She was cool, even if the game forced her to be retarded in that Facing Mirrors dungeon.
Also, I completely forgot that Yoshiyuki Sadamoto did a lot of art for the games apparently. That may also explain some things.
Also also, I had no idea where I was going with that background and that dialog is just kinda there. Eh.

Presumably Kite, although being an MMO player character I'm not sure much nastification could've happened. But it was intended to be full-of-babies when I drew it, at least.

As some one who followed the .Hack// series very closely I have to say that this does make sense as Blackroses' real life character did hint that she did have feelings for Kite. But I was kind of disappointed that Kite never got to meet Ouka from the legend of twilight series because I always felt that Kites reaction to Ouka as well as Blackroses' and Ryokos' would have been hysterical.

I don't care for her being preggers, though that is a lovely belly. But I agree its obnoxious having so many people only acknowledge Rena. And even more so when they fuse both characters- ". . .this is BlackRose/Rena from //Legend of the Twilight. . ." D:< Bleh!

You know what's funny? On devart it's nothing but .hack//DUSK (or, Legend of Twilight), and on youtube it's nothing but GU and Roots, and....well, my favorite plot and characters are from Sign and the Infection games. *sigh*

That is odd. //sign and the games are the core of the .hack story, after all. It seems bizarre that they'd be ignored in favor of the "Hey, let's keep milking this franchise into the ground" continuations.
Could just be me. Never seen or played the new stuff, after all. Er, not that the old stuff is all that 'old' either.

I have both the Infection games (which include Liminality) and all the GU games. I have the SIGN box set (except Unison. Damn.), and 5 of the 6 Roots dvds. I'm missing one of those and .hack//Legend of Twilight.
The new .hack stuff is more action, more badass and slightly worse plot. Whereas the "old" stuff focused on the sci-fi aspects of everything, Roots and GU are character-centered around Haseo. By contrast, all .hack//Legend will be remembered as will be "Kawaaaiii!!", or more accurately "Shuuuuugoooooo!!!" "Reeeeennaaaaaa!!!"

That floaty thing is a secret level in one of the games. I forget which. But, yeah. In some areas you can see a giant floating through the air, spinning. There's a level inside him, apparently. It's quite silly.
