Description
1 of my final pieces for my water exam at AS level. As much as it annoys me at times im submitting a colour version, but only 2 scraps. This piece is, in my opinion, is the better and i am extremely plzed with it.UPDATE: ~GglowW did a painting of this photo, head over and take a look for yoursleves! [link]

the shallow dof is amazing, it really allows the viewer to appreciate the small amount of texture in focus. use used the rule of thirds very well too! nice job.

This is my favorite i've seen in a while. Its so natural, and simple, yet holds alot of meaning. Soft lighting and tones are perfect. You did an awesome job.

Wonderful picture! Love the focus and the drop!
Just one thing though, maybe you should make the picture smaller? Perhaps 1000 px or something on the longest side? Then you see more details, but still can see most of the picture at once..

haha no problem on both accounts. and i had to cheat and use word to spell it right. my art teacher and i were discussing it and he mentioned that word so i figured we should probably throw it out there

you should be pleased! black and white suits it best, gives it a more grave tone.
great focus and detail on the tear/droplet of water. (:
