As he took in the scene before him, Pride was conflicted. On one hand, this was a serious blow - Wrath was crucial to Father's plans as a mainspring to a watch. He felt immense disdain for other homunculus to be defeated so unexpectedly and by whom he believe to be the weakest of humans.

On the other hand, he could not help but admire and be astounded by that human's guile and ingenuity. How did she find out about Wrath? Did she know about him? What was going through in her mind as she did this?

Pride shook his head. He should stop this foolishness - thinking on them both only made his eyes prickle (how curious) and more importantly Father had to be informed.

Plans had to be made.

"The Fuhrer killed his wife in a fit of passion after a heated argument," he murmured to himself, mentally preparing for the arduous tasks ahead, "then fell on his own sword in remorse."

Whole idea was inspired by the lyrics from The Eagle's song 'Long Run':

'Did you do it for love, did you do it for money?
Did you do it for spite? Did you think you had to, honey?'

Of the four reasons, I don't think the second reason is suitable. As for the remaining three, I don't think even Mrs. Bradley knows.
