Ever since I first heard this song, I really wanted to do a picture based off of it...just because I think that the lyrics fit so well. This series had me marathoning while I was supposed to be studying for midterms and writing papers and even after it ended, I was in denial about the ending for so long. Nevertheless, the tragic hero and the tragic ending is what made the series, and I can't see it happening any other way.

As my first Code Geass piece, I feel like I haven't done the characters justice (since the idea for this picture just came to mind while I was trying to nap) and I wanted to get it down on paper before I forgot it. But I'll keep trying harder, especially since I have the feeling that the series and the characters will be sticking with me for a long time...even if everything is long over.
